I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Carriage House B&B in Jefferson. the property, set along the beautiful Piney Woods, offered a delightful mix of relaxation and adventure. The cozy room, like the Ruth Lester room, was a haven of comfort with its clawfoot tub and shower stall. the attention to detail in the room's design echoed the historic charm of the Carnegie Library. Waking up to Jessi's famous Two-course Breakfasts was a highlight each morning. the gourmet breakfast felt like a royal treat, and the fresh brewed coffee by the firepit added to the experience. Exploring the wetlands along the Big Cypress Bayou, reminiscent of the historic sites from the 1880s, was a unique and enriching experience. the blend of nature and history was truly captivating. This B&B truly embodies the essence of a perfect retreat. From the delicious breakfasts to the serene surroundings, it was a stay filled with warmth and charm. I cannot wait to return with more friends to share in this delightful experience.
